Or prepare the file.
These are two different jobs. Use AI PDF Chat when you need to find and verify information. Use the file tools when you need to reorder, extract, reduce, or export pages.

The initial summary uses the first two pages. The reader then processes the remaining pages automatically in the background.
Lane 02 / Edit and export

Scheduled deletion
Temporary uploads and results are scheduled for deletion after 60 minutes by an hourly cleanup task. Do not upload sensitive or regulated documents.

PDF tools FAQ
Which tool should I start with?
Choose PDF Chat when the goal is understanding information. Choose Merge, Split, Compress, or PDF to Images when the goal is changing the file or its output format.
Does PDF Chat analyze the whole document immediately?
No. The initial summary uses the first two pages. Remaining pages are processed automatically in batches; wait for the processing status to finish before asking about later sections.
Is there a separate PDF OCR tool?
Not yet. PDF Chat can attempt OCR or visual recognition for scanned pages, but the site does not currently provide a standalone full-document OCR export.
Should I upload confidential documents?
No. Files are processed on a server and PDF Chat may use a third-party AI provider. Remove confidential, personal, medical, financial, or legally protected content before uploading.
